Meet Caesar!
This gorgeous guy with the beautiful gold eyes is Caesar!  He's a 3 year old Domestic Shorthair who's neutered, current on his vaccinations, microchipped, litter box trained and has FeLV.

Caesar came to The Goode Life Rescue after he was picked up with a feral colony to be neutered. To their surprise, he was a total love bug and not feral at all so off to rescue he went!

A friendly, social boy who's also docile & gentle, Caesar loves all people he meets, including kids, and enjoys spending time with them!  His main goals in life, besides finding a forever home, are being loved & pet. Cuddle sessions are a must and he likes to show his affection by laying his head on your shoulder.  Caesar also has a playful side and will amuse you with his silly cat antics while he also has a lazy side and enjoys relaxing with his people or taking catnaps. With his stunning good looks and sweet demeanor, he's very easy to love!

About Caesar's FeLV:  FeLV is Feline Leukemia Virus, it's not cancer, it's a virus that can weaken a cat's immune system throughout its life.  Many cats with the virus live without any complications and are able to resist infections or even eliminate the virus on their own.  It is only contagious to other cats through deep bite wounds or long-term mutual grooming so while a positive cat can't live with a cat without the virus, he or she can live with other FeLV+ cats or even a cat-friendly dog!  Cats with FeLV can live many years and are just like other cats who cuddle & play.  A healthy diet, vet visits twice a year and keeping them inside can help them continue living a great life.
